Discover My Story:
Art, Culture, and Academia
Born in Xochimilco, Mexico City, and currently serving as a Professor at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), I have had the privilege of blending my academic background in Management and Marketing with my passion for art and culture. With a PhD from the EGADE Business School of the Tecnológico de Monterrey, I have developed expertise in luxury marketing, fashion brands, and consumer behavior.
My artistic journey began at a young age, inspired by my family's rich heritage and traditions. Over the years, I have honed my skills in various art forms, including soulful artistic makeup, particularly in the Día de Muertos Catrina style since 2012, and have collaborated with notable brands and events.
In 2012, I contributed to the creation of the Oscar-winning animated feature "Coco," working at Disney Mexico to ensure cultural accuracy and authenticity for the film.
As a visual artist, my services have been featured in some of the finest Mexican restaurants in Prague and at exhibitions in the Mexican Embassy, private events and more.
In October 2023, I authored the "Catrinas por el Mundo" photo exhibition, a celebrated collaboration with the Mexican fashion brand PINEDA COVALIN. Supported by the Prague government, the Mexican Embassy, and private sponsors, this exhibition successfully merged Mexican and Czech cultures through the iconic symbol of La Catrina.
Believing that details make all the difference, I offer personalized services that reflect this philosophy. Whether it's makeup, crafts, or visual art, I am dedicated to creating customized experiences that capture the essence of individuality.
